One capsule three times a day
Take one capsule of Orlistat HEXAL® 60 mg with a little water at meals three times daily – one capsule at breakfast, lunch and dinner. So that the diet capsules can develop their effect, take one immediately before, during or up to an hour after eating.
If you would like to miss a meal out completely, this is also possible of course – just miss out the capsule as well. The same applies if a meal is fat-free (e.g., raw food): the lipase inhibitor can only act if the food contains fat.
Orlistat HEXAL® 60 mg is a lipase inhibitor, commonly also called a fat blocker. The diet capsules block fat absorption and ensure that you absorb less fat.

If, during intake of Orlistat HEXAL® 60 mg, you get dietary symptoms such as bloating or the sudden urge for a bowel movement, this could be a sign that you have consumed more fat than you should. Decide on a varied mixed diet with lots of fresh vegetables, fruit and just a little meat. Fast foods and many ready meals have a high calorie and fat content. If you cook for yourself, you have a better idea of what is actually on the plate.
Restaurant meals are also possible while taking Orlistat HEXAL® 60 mg - simply make sure you have small portions and select low-fat foods or food that has been prepared with little fat.
Drink approximately 1.5 litres per day. Consume drinks that contain no or only a few calories. Good thirst quenchers are water, unsweetened herbal and fruit teas, or fruit and vegetable juices diluted with water (1 part juice to 3 parts water). Broths and light soups ensure an additional amount of liquid and fill the stomach.
Exercise - people who regularly exercise not only burn calories but also build muscle tissue through targeted training. The advantage - muscles consume a lot of energy, even if you are not moving, i.e. when resting.
